Conveniently situated 55km from East London on N2 towards Durban and 40km from the Wildcoast beaches, the lodge is easy to find for both local South Africans and international travellers alike.
Nqwenkala Safaris is privately owned and managed by the Venske Family, who have lived in the area for over 20 years. The lodge exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere and is surrounded by remote wilderness, home to a wide range of plant and animal life.
In true South African spirit, 4x4 vehicles are required to access the Nqwenkala Game Lodge. If you do not have a 4x4 at your disposal, never fear; our safari vehicle can collect guests from the parking area and transfer them to the lodge.
